CorelCAD Videos

CorelCAD is a brand new software and I am still playing around with its features. So far I have positive experience in using CorelCAD.  Below are videos of my first look at CorelCAD.  These are not video tutorials, these are just videos to show and highlight its features.

06/16/2011 - 18:00 Demo creating object from a picture reference This video will show you how I created an object using an isometric drawing reference. Measurements were accurate. Speed of video clip was increased 7X.
06/10/2011 - 12:02 Creating a chair demo This video will show you how I created a chair using CorelCAD, measurement was not involved here. I was just having fun. I increased the speed of the video by 8x.
06/08/2011 - 07:36 Using the Constrained Orbit Tool This video will show you how to use the Constrained Orbit Tool. This tool is useful specially when you are working on a 3D object.
06/05/2011 - 22:21 Aligning objects in CorelCAD In this video I will show you how to align objects with one and two point reference. this aligning tool is very useful and easy to execute.
06/04/2011 - 22:12 Using ESNAP (Entity snap) to speed up drawing This video will show you the different esnaps of CorelCAD. Esnap or Entity snap is very useful in drawing precise.  Entity overrides is also used to isolate your esnap. I cannot work or create drawing without this powerful tool.
06/03/2011 - 23:11 Drawing 3D using weld, unify and subtract tool In this video I will show you how to draw an object in 3D using a hand sketch reference. The tools that I use here is extrude, weld, unify and subtract.
06/02/2011 - 22:20 Creating Custom Coordinate System In this video I am going to show you how to use the custom coordinates system in CorelCAD. When drawing in 3D, it is difficulty to place a shape on the surface of an object. In CorelCAD it is easy, you just have to change the placement of your XY and Z axis.
06/01/2011 - 07:10 Creating a 3D floor plan This video will show you how to make a 3D floor plan. I started tracing a scanned image of a floor plan. Then I traced the walls by using the rectangle tool, then use draw - extrude command on all the walls. Finally I use a render plugin to make it more realistic.
05/31/2011 - 11:40 First look at the 3D revolve feature This video will show how easy it is to use the 3D revolve tool and see resulots quickly. First I created half of the object, then using the 3d revolve tool...it created the 3d model.
05/31/2011 - 11:37 First look at 3D Feature This is my first look at CorelCAD's 3d feature. I like it when I start with creating 2 D then extruding the shapes to make it 3d. I also like the included plug-in to createa realisic rendition of the objects.
05/31/2011 - 11:35 Creating twitter logo in Corelcad (Part 2 ) In this video I will show you how to clean or vectorize a logo in CorelCad. Then after that show you how to export and colour it in CorelDraw.
05/31/2011 - 11:32 Creating twitter logo in Corelcad (Part1) In this video I will show you how to clean or vectorize a logo in CorelCad. Then after that show you how to export and colour it in CorelDraw.
05/31/2011 - 08:56 Export drawing to CorelDraw (Part 3) This video will show you the export to CoreDRAW is used. This feaure in CorelCAD is very useful specially for designers who uses CorelDRAW for their final artwork.
05/31/2011 - 08:48 Export drawing to CorelDraw (Part 2) This video will show you the export to CoreDRAW is used. This feaure in CorelCAD is very useful specially for designers who uses CorelDRAW for their final artwork.
05/31/2011 - 08:33 Export drawing to CorelDraw (Part 1) This video will show you the export to CoreDRAW is used. This feaure in CorelCAD is very useful specially for designers who uses CorelDRAW for their final artwork.
05/31/2011 - 08:27 Using the zoom tool The Zoom commands change the magnification of the drawing display. The ratio of the entire drawing to the entities affected by zooming remains unchanged. Zoom commands are on the View menu or the Zoom toolbar.
05/31/2011 - 08:23 Execute a command in CorelCAD In this video, I will show you 3 ways how to execute a command. 1. Using the icons2. Using the menu3. Typing it in the command window
05/31/2011 - 08:20 Ortho mode This video will show you how to use the ortho mode in CorelCAD. Ortho mode limits the pointer movement so that the pointer moves parallel to the axes of the current coordinate system. You can only enter points located parallel to these axes. Ortho mode makes it easier to design and place parallel or collinear Lines on entities. In the standard World Coordinate System (WCS), orthogonal Lines run horizontally or vertically from the base point.
05/31/2011 - 08:14 My first look at the interface This video will show you my first look at the new CorelCAD interface.
05/19/2011 - 08:03 Changing the graphics area colour This tutorial will show you how to change the graphics area background. The default background colour in CorelCAD is black.
